What is stored locally
Watch progress, saved items, daily streak progress, theme preference, and player settings are kept in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device unless you sign in to sync them.

This platform has no ads, no analytics trackers, and nothing to sell. This page explains plainly what data exists, where it lives, and how to remove it.

How to remove it
The Settings page lets you reset watch history and saved items on the current device at any time. Clearing your browser data does the same.
Signed-in accounts
If you sign in with Google
What we receive
Google Sign-In shares your name, email address, and profile photo with the site, along with a unique account identifier. We do not receive your Google password or any other Google account data.
What we store in the cloud
Your watch progress, saved items, and daily streak stats are synced to Cloud Firestore (a Google Firebase service) so they follow you across devices. Security rules ensure each account can only read and write its own private learning data.
Community leaderboard
The streak leaderboard is opt-in only. If you join, the public row contains only your display name, current streak, best streak, daily target, last completed day, and update time. Your email, watch history, saved items, and daily heatmap details are never public. Leaving the leaderboard removes that public row.
How to delete your data
Signing out stops all syncing immediately. To have your synced progress and account data permanently deleted, email contact@improvingmuslim.com from the address you signed in with and we will remove it.

Services this site relies on
Video delivery
Videos are served from a Cloudflare-backed CDN. Like any web server, it sees your IP address in order to deliver the video. We do not use it to track viewing behaviour.
Fonts and sign-in
Fonts load from Google Fonts, and sign-in uses Google Firebase Authentication. Both are Google services and receive standard connection information such as your IP address when they load.
Feedback and error reports
The feedback form sends your message through FormSubmit to our contact inbox - your email address is included only if you choose to provide it. If a page crashes or a video fails to load, an automatic report with the page URL and browser version is sent the same way so we can fix it. These reports contain no name, email, or account information.
