Start the lecture first, then lock your screen or leave Safari. If the audio pauses, open Control Center or the Lock Screen media controls and press play to continue listening.

This is handled by your browser and device, so the website cannot always keep it playing automatically after you leave the page.

Use the PiP icon inside the video controls to keep the lecture playing in a small floating window while you use other apps.

If you do not see the PiP icon, enter fullscreen first, then leave the browser using your phone's home gesture. On supported phones, the video should continue in Picture in Picture.

Some phones and browsers may not support PiP for every video.
